Nice hostel. A lot of people staying there for several months at a time, so like a big family:) Not a party-hostel, but have an awesome bbq-area in the backyard until 23:00. Would definitely stay there again - Hostelworld review by Andreas

Nick was excellent, very professional. Ken was too good for a hostel, he belongs at Four Seasons or Hyatt. Rest of stall very good too. Hopper doing masterful job as manager, his staffers all top-quality, which seems to attract a higher echelon of traveler too, all my roommates were polite, considerate, and honest. And cleaners deserve a raise => hardworking and very thorough. Witch's Hat ranks as best in class. I hope to return some day. - Hostelworld review by Brian

Best hostel we've been to in Perth. By a long way. Highly recommended. Double rooms are large and clean, with TV and private-ish bathroom right next door. Can't fault the place at all. - Hostelworld review by James

Very clean and fresh looking all over. Some rooms have tv. Nice bathrooms + toilets, great owner with valuable knowledge, friendly staff. Weekly bbq. Probably the over all best hostel in town. - Hostelworld review by Kristina

Hostel is in a residential area which is nice because it is quiet at night but if u walk 5 minutes down the road you are in northbridge which is where all the bars restaurants and clubs are, alot of fun! i had an awesome stay here would definately go back and if i hadnt of had a flight pre booked i would of stayed even longer! very sad to leave, met some lovely people and i would really recommend to stay here! great hostel!!!! - Hostelworld review by Natalie

There\'s always a staff (she even waited till 2am for us to arrive from the airport). There\'s a living room with internet and TV. Close to town and cafe. Lovely place. Air con was amazing as it was 41C when we were there. - Hostelworld review by Emily

A really great place to stay in Perth. The staff are really helpful, the hostel is in a great location (walking distance to everything, but far enough out to be quiet at night), the kitchen is great, awesome little patio out back. Would stay here for sure next time. The central AC was a bit cold, but the clean, thick blankets made up for it! Hostelworld booking by Chad

I wish I could stay there longer - and my next visit to Perth is bringing me right back there. I totally loved the atmosphere and the treatment received. Very well run! I have been recommending Witch's Hat to all the folks I met in Sydney and Brisbane this past week.......so that says a lot! Looking forward to staying again soon. Extremely friendly hostel with every amenity you could want. You get your own fridge space, food space and a large kitchen. The internet is fast and you can either use their computers or a laptop. There is a good TV lounge and also courtyard. It only takes 20 minutes to walk into town so although the location is not central this isn't an issue.
